Root cause of this case: Birmingham is a shithole. How do you have packs of feral dogs in the city limits? Corrupt and incompetent city officials is how.

It was probably a golden retriever and a couple of cocker spaniels that did it…

When they took animal control away from the Jeff county health Dept, it all went to shoot. A cousins wife just pulled a pit off a child in the Trussville area. Poor girl was trying to feed and water the stray. Thought I was going to be attacked from a Shepard cross near one of my houses the other day but it got lucky and backed off as I was prepared. Think it realized I had an equalizer in my hand.

Shoot them and they definitely will fall in the “won’t” category.

Hard to watch, but important because people need to know what they are up against. There is no reasonable justification for any fighting breed dogs, IMHO.

So everyone on this site needs to turn over their Dobermans, German Shepard’s, Boxers, ant type of Bulldog, and pretty much any type of sporting or working breed of dog because they were all at one point in time trained /bred to be protective and hunters and or killers. Nothing but fluffy frumpy dogs for everyone.
Need to look at the owners first and foremost, sorta like this thing with guns.

I think its a law you cant hav a roaming dog - we had to hav ours n a pen or electronic boundary collar - urika - problem solved

Yes there were several people bitten by a boxer when I stationed at Ft Stewart, as well as other dogs that I mentioned. Most supposed pit attacks aren’t by pits but by dogs labeled as pits. An American Bulldog is one that get labeled as a pit regularly but it’s not a pit.

A German Shephard killed a fawn in broad daylight in our neighborhood; had some kids freaked out. No idea what it was doing out?
