What Zelensky said was if Western support for Ukraine wanes and it loses the war, Russia could invade the Baltic states next, and then NATO including US troops, would have to get involved.

what did you hear him say?
To me it sounded like he thanked everyone for their support and said that if russia isn't stopped now, eventually America will have to send troops when the Baltic states are invaded. The = in thread title should have been " OR" to even be somewhat close to accurate. Its just russ prop as is.

Who was the guy here on ALdeer, that was such a supporter of Ukraine at the beginning of all this, and said that he was headed over there to join the fight. How did that work out?

Sounds to me like Zelensky best get to brokering a cease fire. Now if he does push for peace, the folks pulling the strings in this administration will probably start up another coup attempt in Ukraine not long after. But hey, that’s how he kind of came to power so can’t feel bad for the guy.

He can speculate on what Russia “might” do but the longer this goes on, the better chance some real bad chit happens that sparks off WW3. And Ukraine likely ceases to exist if that happens. That is the reality of things, and the fact this guy and our government won’t acknowledge that because of their sheer greed is sickening. Also the longer this goes on, the more weapons and equipment hit the black market and get in the hands of folks who really don’t like us. But as long as the defense contractor’s earnings reports are strong it’s a good thing right?
