For those that have them which do y’all prefer garmin livescope, hummingbird mega live or lowrance active target and why do you like that one over the others?

Garmin, the others aren’t close. Watched several videos comparing the different ones and all that I remember recommended Garmin. I have personally fished with all three and the bird version was ok but not as good as Garmin.

How did y’all wire it up. Did y’all run wire all the way to back of boat to batteries or did y’all put on separate battery by itself?

I ran it to my cranking battery but I'm about to buy a dedicated lithium to put in my rod box

That’s smart. The more juice you can get to the box the better

Garmin is the only way to go. I've got a dedicated Dakota lithium that runs all my electronics. 12volt 23ah and with 2 93uhd's and livescope I can fish all weekend.

I’m in the process of installing a Garmin 106sv ultra & lsv34. I m waiting on delivery of a factory dual step bow mount for my Vexus so I can have both the Garmin & Helix 9 up front. My battery should be delivered today, its an Amped outdoors 14.8v 48ah. I plan on running both units & a black box from this battery. I’m mounting it all in a front box so the factory power cables will reach power source. I’m adding a disconnect switch & power distribution block between the battery & my units. I should have it all delivered & together by next week…..that’s my plan anyhow.

This is the step mount im waiting on, I think it will keep things tight & neat.

I ordered my garmin unit and livescope last night. I believe I am going to get a 12v lithium battery for it and put it by itself and install in battery box in one of storage box up front with livescope black box.
