If you’re shooting tss you might better get a .575 or .585, that .555 will be a tight or blown out pattern. I had the same gun and used the Carlson.575

I had the same gun and used the Carlson.575 Thanks This is what happened to mine when I switched to TSS. I found mine does best with the factory full choke. The bad thing is it gets expensive trying to figure out the best choke for the gun.

If you’re shooting tss you might better get a .575 or .585, that .555 will be a tight or blown out pattern. I had the same gun and used the Carlson.575 He's correct, that small shot needs to "breath" . .585 is the tightest I've ever used. Try your full and go from there. A polish job on the bore and a full or extra full may be bad medicine. If you're shooting #9, a uniform pattern with about 275 pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yards is the ticket. Don't get caught up in putting the most pellets in the circle, you want a killing pattern , not a show pattern. Folks defeat the purpose of all that small shot by restricting it down to a softball size pattern.

I have an SXP Longbeard 20g and the factory choke is garbage with Winchester Longbeard shells. It shoots a great pattern with the Carlson Longbeard choke.
