On these theories of Mylar balloons and the stuff like that?

I don’t think finding balloons in the woods mean you found a big buck bedding area. I think balloons will fall where balloons fall, thermals and wind will carry them where they find their final resting place and big bucks will bed where big bucks like to bed.

Earlier this evening I missed a big buck. Actually, my bullet centered up a tree limb. Had the bullet been a half inch higher I would have new wallpaper soon. Oh well.

Either way, while I was looking for blood or any indication as to why the deer didn’t look to of died, I found the deers bed. Within sight of the bed I found an area littered with Mylar balloons. 4 or 5 of them anyways.
I’ve also found them in the middle of our fields. So I don’t put a lot of weight into it either way, just a neat observation from my evening.

What are some other theories out there?

That’s a sanctuary. Duh
If the Mylar balloons didn’t give it away, that giant trophy rock should have.

Bought balloons for his girl. Knowing all brownie points expire at midnight. Balloons are a sign of the love shack.

The theory makes sense. Bucks like to bed in thermal hubs, where scent from every direction enters the area. Those spots would have a greater chance of a balloon landing, since they would be drawn there from any direction. I'm not out looking for balloons when I'm scouting, but seeing some will make me look at the spot a little closer.

That is exactly why he said what he said. $$$

I’ve got a pile of them that need to be on log trucks.

Careful now. Y’all gonna make people believe every white oak log is worth a grand.
