Anybody else been waiting a long while on a deer? Hes had my boys about a year now. Joseph is getting ansi wanting to see his deer again.

Should be worth the wait. He does pretty good work.

Just call him and find out even though I know you’re probably like me don’t want to feel like I’m pestering them. A year should be more than plenty for someone to get a deer back to you. I had a turkey done by Tommy Knight and I knew it was going to be a longer turnaround but it was well worth it. Every situation is a bit different so at the year point on a deer that you didn’t already have expectations on 12+ months…well time to pester 😁

I called him i guess three months ago. He said he was behind. He did Josephs first good buck. If i remember right it took around a year. Joseph is just wanting to see his deer again bad. I told him im sure hes doing the best he can.

The last one I had done took over a year. It was getting close to two years. It was at Stan Gross'.

Mine ended up taking him 22 months. It turned out great in my opinion, but I was expecting it to take 12-14 months. I’d have rather been told two years instead of one.

You can go get the antlers. He doesn’t need those until the last finishing work is taking place. If he pushes back on that I’d start asking questions. Actually place I got a few done in GA told me I was welcome to come get the rack and he’d let me know when he needed it. I did and it worked out great.

Had a guy take 4 years on the last one I ever took him. Did great work but 4 years was a bit long in my opinion.

I dropped off one last Thursday with a guy in West Blocton. He said up to 12 months. Said I was #115 on the list of bucks he had to do. I’ve seen his work though and I’m fine with the wait.

If they are any count expect around a year. There’s a guy around here that does like 90 day turnaround and let’s just say I wouldn’t take him crap to mount

I’ve got 2 with him right now and he was up front with me that he was backed up. I’ve seen his work though so for me to finally get 2 done it’s worth the wait.
