Ol' boy on one of the FB hunting groups posted this about an hour ago.

I think the doe limit is one per day statewide now.

The FB crowd giving him some grief.

Don't these folks realize that the DCNR can use social media to make cases?

Wowzer... not too bright on his part in my opinion. rolleyes

Are there still any places that do doe tags, and if so, do they still follow the same rule?

I know that the state's DMAP program still helps landowners and hunting clubs manage deer herds through doe tags.

I'm not sure if the one doe per day rule applies to someone utilizing the DMAP program.

His story of the bullet passing through one and wounding to the second doe to the point of crippling it makes it even better.

The secret to a long marriage is to keep on dating, just as you did before marriage. We have "date night" once a week.
Hers is Saturday, mine is Thursday.

The only time a married woman gives those is if your not married to them!

It does not, you can pile em up if you have the tags.

If he’s on DMAP he’s fine. Killed multiple does a bunch of times. So have a lot others.

I had a client with a Facebook post of him with 2 gobblers. Game warden came to his house, talked to him, came back and arrested him. I tried the case and he was found not guilty.

Almost as good as the member here that posted gobblers him and his dad killed in Georgia opening day. Only problem was it was the youth weekend. 😲

To be fair, I actually did that with my bow a few weeks ago. My arrow deflected through the does ribcage after it passed through and ran through a button buck's hindquarter and into the body cavity. Neither made it more than 50 yards. Not something I intended would do or try to repeat, but it does happen. I don't think that's the case here though lol

They arrested him for killing 2 gobblers in one day? I can see a ticket for being over the bag limit but why would they arrest him?

If they showed up about an internet post I would just tell them I am a compulsive liar who was looking for social acceptance and a boost for my pitiful self worth and not another word would be said.It always amazed me how many guys on the gw shows made the case for the chit bags cause they ran their mouths.

My son did that Thursday actually with some wild pigs. Had a big group with a couple of sows and a lot of piglets come out. He picked out a sow and shot her and it passed through and also took out one of the piglets. He texted me that he had two down and I wondered how he managed that with a Thompson Encore and me only hearing one shot, but it can happen. I just wish the round would have jumped around and taken out the whole sounder.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

It happens.

I did it last year.

Even got an action photo from a cell cam. Second deer is the one with all four legs in the air and first deer is already on the ground in the area of bright sunlight. I never saw the second deer when I made the shot.
