My father swears he's trapped same one twice and released 2 miles from house and it's back again.
I won't mention him shooting one in the house with a 9mm that he thinks my mother let in thinking it was there cat late one night ...lolol
Dad had to call the man to fix the electrical line to dryer next day.lol

Put him in a cage and feed him for a couple of weeks to clean it out and then he will make a meal. That’s the way the old timers did it

Some should understand what possums do.

And bad for turkey nests. Heck, turkeys may eat more ticks than possums.

They also have some sort of toxin in their piss that will kill a dog.

The study that suggested X-number of ticks are eaten by possums was found to be invalid. Kill them and save a few turkeys.

I didn't know about dogs.

But horses, yes, except it's their feces, not urine.

Ol' possum comes along and defecates on your feed or hay in your barn.

Later on you feed the hay or feed to your horse(s).

Horse gets sick, EPM, a sickness that can lead to death.

My mama made me stomp the babies…..it’s why I’m damaged.

Had a possum that liked to do the same thing. Walked outside one night to see an owl fly away with it. Covered porch too, it was awesome.
