Had to go out on a service call this morning, about 2 hours on the side of the interstate. I usually don’t mind cold but my feet got bad cold and my toes were white as typing paper up to about mid foot when I got home.
Just now getting color back in all but one and it just got enough felling to hurt

I puttem in warm water as long as I could stand it. I wasn’t dressed for the occasion at all, I left the house just going to jacks to pickup a couple biscuits and got the call while I was out.
I was wearing jeans, tshirt and sketcher’s with no socks. I really didn’t think it would take 10-15 minutes but the cold made everything worse

Pretty stupid to go out like that but like I said, cold usually does not bother me. I rarely EVER wear a jacket or long sleeves even

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Yea it was a tough day out there. I was running outside all day fixing heating systems. My first job of the day I had 2 degrees on a bluff in skyline Al.

Thats one reason i didnt hunt in it today. My feet are partially numb due to the "beetus". So i stayed inside the house for the most part.

Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

That's why I carry coveralls, gloves and tobaggon in my truck. Never know when you'll need them.

The coldest my hands ever got was doing a road call on the side of busy 2 lane highway. The driver had filled the fuel tank on a Mack with 200 gallons of gasoline. It was around 35 degrees that day and had to hold a hose on the drain of the tank with my hands to drain it. I was soaked with gasoline by the time I got that truck back on the road

I had to fix my tail lights once in NY. It was so cold it took me nearly three hours to cut out the wires from the old light, pop in the new light and wire it up. I couldn’t do it with gloves and it was so cold after just a few seconds I couldn’t feel my fingers. I’d have to get back in the truck and warm my hands up. A 15min job took 3 hours.

My hands were frozen just getting out of my outer layer of hunting clothes at the truck this evening.

Just came in from some work outside. A man with a beard, mustache and plenty of nose hair will create a lot of ice on his face If’n he ain’t got a face mask. And it doesn’t take long.

I got genuine frostbite elk hunting in Montana in single digit temps. I had a little place on the end of my nose got it. After it thawed it felt like a burn and looked like one to. In a couple of days it turned black then scabbed up. Eventually the scab fell off and it returned to its normal ugly self. Just a spot on the end of my nose but it w as a nuisance. I’d hate to have toes get like that. Everyone be careful in these temperatures.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I started to get frostbite on the tip of my earlobe skiing in Utah in -10 degree weather and windy. Started to burn. Turned white and one of my friends noticed and said something. Noticed just before damage started to turn it black. I adjusted my hat and gaiter to cover both my ears but there was ice buildup on the right side of my hat by my ear and that and the high wind did it. Eventually had to go in to warm up by the fire.
