A'ight some of y'all know I'm a Preacher. I've got a young man looking for a rifle with scope. He has a few $ put back and will have some Christmas money.

I'd like to find him a bolt action in 243, 25-06, etc. with a decent scope on top.

He has $500 but there are some folks that will add a few dollars so the budget can go up.

He is a good young man who goes to school, works full time, and does right by his Momma.

He is trying to keep company with others who are positive in his life.

I've got a like new Savage model 11 243 with less than 10 rounds through it. Safe queen as some would call it. It has a scope on it but I don't remember what it is off the of my head, I'd have to dig it out. I've also got a couple boxes of ammo and a sling that can go with it. I'd like to get $600 out of the whole package. I'm in North Alabama and travel to Huntsville daily, going to Birmingham Thursday and can come back up 65 to Huntsville on my return trip. If you need a scope/ get a gun that doesn’t have one on it…I’ve got a cabelas covenant and weaver scope mounts he can put on it for free. It’s a 3x12x50 scope that hasn’t been used.

I know where a new Ruger American can be purchased online for about $386.99, shipping is a minimal charge and $20.00 FFL fee.

You could get the caliber he wanted then. They are fine little rifles that shoot lights out right out of the box.

Since he does right by his Momma, works and keeps good company, I have a Howa 1500 (same as Weatherby Vanguard) chambered in 270 I will donate to him if someone will Aldeer Express it up there. It has scope rings already on it. If he feels like he has to pay for it, he can give me whatever he wants. I just want to reward a good young fellow so maybe he will continue to stay on the straight and narrow.
