Anyone seen rut signs yet?
The 19th in Zone A, I bumped 3 does then saw another doe 30 min later.
The 20th, in same spot, was sitting about 30 min, then stood up cos I was going to cut a few branches down in my vision, and the 3 does had walked up behind me to my right and I didn't see them till they took off lol.

Both days not a buck around, haven't seen any rubs, just a few light scrapes.

However, that first day, at about my 10 o'clock, I hear this sound over on the ridge in front of me. In this video the guy is making the same sounds I was hearing @ 2:05 - 2:40. Then this sound moved on to about 12, then about 30 min later it was over at 3. If it was in fact a buck he was walking across the entire top of the mountain in front of me and traveled a long way making the call.
I really wasn't sure if it was a deer since I don't recall ever hearing this sound.

In second video you can barely hear it over background but it's an actual deer not the hunter as in first video. It's like a long drawn out grunt at a steady tone lasting maybe 5 seconds each time.

I can see Chocolocco from my front porch. They’re rutting now. My mom hit a buck chasing a doe near Baines Gap the other day. Several dead bucks on the roads around here too.

Got it done this morning in the rain...7pt. Dropped it like it's hot! He didn't make it 20yds.

When I shot, there was 4+ other deer between him and I.... no idea how i never even saw them!!!
He wasn't chasing, but he was following a doe and I think the other ones were does.
