Wilson Lumber should have it Thank you, I keep forgetting about them. As for price, a sheet of Coosa composite for replacing my transom is close to $1000 after shipping. $100 for a sheet of marine grade plywood is a no brainer.

There is some theory about having wood in your transom to absorb shock or something but IMO that's a myth. That's just what I've heard my whole life. But 100% of the time if it flexes you'll get a crack somewhere. Couple pieces of channel across there and brace it to the floor and you'll have a permanent fix IMO. I haven't had any trouble out of any I have fixed going back with aluminum only. Only key is getting your bracing and bolt holes lined up. That's about the hardest part.
For aluminum boats. I don't know what kind of boat this is.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

For aluminum boats. I don't know what kind of boat this is. I have heard the same concerns about the flexing as well. My boat is a aluminum 2004 Lund. It already has a rigid aluminum channel where the O/B mounts. The current transom has lasted 18 years. In 18 years, I'll be 83. So the math says go the cheaper route.

I’ve never seen a fully welded aluminum boat with wood in the transom. I’ve seen quite a few riveted hulls that do. 2004. It is a riveted hull. I am learning how to properly drill out rivets, so there is a rainbow in the storm.

What about Advantech sun flooring? IDK if it would work but that stuff is dang near indestructible. I used it for top covers for my bee hives and left some unpainted to test it. It never missed a beat

It never missed a beat Someone on my Lund Transom Group mentioned using OSB coated in fiberglass resin. I would have to find someone who has done it and proven the test of time. I'm not doing this project again. For now, my first choice is marine grade plywood coated with resin. Lots of folks on the LTG are going this route instead of Coosa composite. I can screw up a couple of sheets of plywood and still be cheaper than Coosa.

My boat and one more that I know of have this as a transom, along with a solid piece of 1/4” T60 Aluminum and 1/4” thick, 1 1/2” angle braces in the corners. I did mine 12 years ago and it’s been used thousands of hours and still looks like the day I put it in.
