there’s one near my pop’s house at the top of a very large pine. they nest there every year. he sits on back porch and drinks coffee and noticed one year when they were nesting. when they do, there’s a regular murder of them moving in and out for several weeks

Anyone ever see a baby armadillo? Never seen one myself. I killed 5-6 of them with my bow in our subdivision a couple of years ago. They were about 1/4 the size of the grown version. Digging in out yards in broad daylight. Had a pretty good time shooting them..

Anyone ever see a baby armadillo? Never seen one myself. I saw a mom with about 6 or 7 of them trailing her one spring, I think it was. I have no use for them and would have killed every one of them if I had a gun and enough skill to do so. The truth is I didn't have either so they lived.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I’ve read on this. They seem to nest in a flock? I could be making this up. They have lookouts and all sorts of things. They’re own set of rules and things they do to look out for each other. Again I could be pulling this all from my rear but I swear o read that somewhere Back in my coonhunting days I had a dog tree on a big tall pine. When walking to the base of the tree to leash my dog I started noticing egg shells on the ground. When I looked up, there were at least 8-10 large birds nest in the canopy that the coons had found. I always wondered what kind of birds they were, guess they were crows.
