I ain’t looked a whole lot, but I ain’t seen no ducks around the edges of Guntersville Lake. Not even many coots.
I hadn’t hunted em in awhile but I look at em.
I think it’s getting a little worse every year.

Louisiana is full of ducks I’ve heard. Limits were had in minutes opening day. Got some pretty good numbers down here. Some areas are killing and others are slow. I haven’t heard the number of shots every morning here in a long time. Lots of limits are being killed. Mostly teal, gadwalls and shovelers.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

Same here. I haven't hunted them in years but I still look. I went to Scottsboro yesterday and saw two rafts of Coots in the "greater" Allred area and nothing sitting in or near the grass mats up 79.

Wouldn’t waste my time on the G. We whacked and stacked there for years around 1990s, early 2000s then just started traveling elsewhere for big numbers. Still whackin & stacking, just not there.
