Trying my luck with the muzzleloader by the house. Historically, I don’t really see deer once all the leaves fall back here but it’s getting close to the rut so I might get lucky.

Also, never realized how bad metal screw in steps are to climb in wet boots. That was an adventure.

It was a ghost town this morning. Could have shot a coyote but it was over the property line.

I’m leaving work about 1:30 today to run get in the woods. Gonna take my muzzleloader out after the buck that wouldn’t come into bow range for me Saturday

The deer were up feeding between 7 and 8:30 on acorns. Ended up seeing 2 does, 2 yearlings and 2 spikes.

I'll be in the stand by 2:30 with the smoke pole. Had a nice 8 point on camera between 330 and 400 for the past 3 days

Just got setup, muzzleloader hunting this evening, buck only spot.

Made it to the tree about 2:30, I hope this wind straightens out a bit.

Travelled 70 miles to hunt some city deer. The wind is wrong so I'll see what happens. Hope a big one gets in this brushy ditch with me. The invasive bush honeysuckle is terrible and I should have brought a bayonet for my 270. But this light snow hopefully will get them moving.

Best part is one of my favorite bars/restaurants is about a mile away.

Same here plus a S every now and then. I’m about 40’ up a pine though so hopefully it’ll blow over the top of everything lol

Just got in the bow stand. Bumped a doe 30 yards from the stand on the walk in

Got six does in the field now.

6 raccoons just showed up. Boy are they early, I flung an arrow at one of them. Missed

3 does and a 3pt so far here.

If I wasn’t hunting horns one of these does would be getting blasted. Big old doe has been out there throwing her head up scent checking about every two minutes since they walked out. Can’t be having paranoid deer

Got in the shooting house about 330 for my first ever muzzleloader hunt. Got a doe with a little one out now. Hoping for a good freezer queen soon

Got a dozen in my plot. Truck is in the shop so won't be shooting
