Welcome. Since bow hunting is your thing, check out Wheeler Wildlife Refuge. Plenty of deer out there. I appreciate the insight. Looking at the map now. Definitely some challenging terrain, but I am not opposed to using the kayak to "sneak" into typically inaccessible areas. I assume I can just park at my own risk off the side of any of the roads in the southwest corner of the refuge. And thank you to everyone for appreciation of my service.

Yall need to quit lying to the new guy. There's no deer out on Wheeler, they hate the swamp. If I was you, I wouldn't even bother scouting out there.
