I hope he runs and I am voting for him if he does. I like DeSantis, but we still need one more missed of Trump back in office to lay waste to these dang swamp politicians. He can't be re-elected, so he is the perfect candidate to go in there and just have at it.
DeSantis comes in 4 years later as the "moderate". Oh yeah because he “drained the swamp” so well in his first term. He didn’t do chit against career politicians the first time so I don’t trust him to do it the second time 🤦🏻 This. Not sure he had enough time with all the dem spun lawsuits against him. My big sway points are banning bump stocks, and his lack of statesmanship.

If DeSantis annouces he is running for POTUS, he will be satan reincarnated. The only reason they aren't hyper focused on him is because of Trump. Trump has been teasing all along. There is no such thing as bad publicity.
And really, everyone said he was going to derail the midterms and announce, and he didn't. He put the party/country first and campaigned heavily for Republicans across the country. Desantis will wait until late 2023 or 2024 to announce, because that's the smart move. The media has been going after Desantis as hard as they can, the difference is he doesn't give them a bunch of ammo. Trump was a good boy last night and listened to his advisors, which he does occasionally. It won't be long before he goes after Desantis again, he can't help himself.
