I message any tree service company whenever I get low. I ask for oak or hickory only. They always come dump a truck load in my yard within a week. For free. I been doing this for years.

I give a bunch away myself but i dont cut it to length or bust it. No great thing im doing, ive gotta dump it somewhere

Not a bade idea. I can cut it up and split it, just don’t have anywhere to go cut.

If you are willing to cut it and split it, there used to be numerous trying to give it away on Craigslist.

This. Usually if they are going to drive by or near your house, they'll stop by and dump all you can stand in the yard for you. Then you can get to splittin.
