Most of the time round the house I can’t hunt close to bedding, they always have the advantage, I just wait till they start looking for does…if I could drop in from the sky I could put 2 big ones down open weekend of bow season…

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

For "flatwoods" hunting....make all of your spots accessible to a quiet buggy or mini-truck and drop off/pick up right at the stand every time.......No walking in the woods or on the roads.....

I don't think it matters if it's pitch black or not. The only one in the woods that can't see in pitch black is you.

Just feed them every day. They begin to like you. Wait on the rut and the bucks come to you. They are at ease and I am 15 yards from them.

I would get to the ground as quiet as I could and growl and start barking at them like a dog, that dont seem to bother them as much as a flashlight or 4 wheeler....

Climb down the tree headfirst, they think it’s a squirrel. I think whildbill said that’s what he does when hunting the sanctuary.

When walking in and out to your stand the deer will spook from the rhythm of your walking and the best way to cover this is to drag something behind you. The dragging sound in the leaves will not spook the deer.

Yep!

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Y’all fellas are hitting all around the glory hole but nobody will drive it on home. . .the answer is sitting right there in front of you…snort wheeze, two times is even better than 1. Guaranteed to clear the field.

Haha back when we were kids hunting me and a buddy were gonna try a quick bow hunt on some food plots. Since we were running late I told my buddy to just sit in the shooting house but he said it was to hot so he climbed up on the roof. Well I’m sure the deer freaked out when they walked out into the patch and saw him sitting on the roof top. I heard a doe blow a few times then I hear him haller BLOW Bitch Blow and when I say that doe covered 100 or so acres in a matter of minutes she was gone. I was about 300 yards away and the stupid doe came running by me blowing and ran all my deer off. I think she cleared out every deer on the property. She ran blowing until you couldn’t hear here anymore. The good times of hunting with idiots

If the wind is right I'll grunt or snort at them. Problem is many times they will come closer.
