I guess I'm in the minority. I like Gary. I think he's very knowledgeable. I kinda sorta agree with you. Just didn't wanna get beat up...

I always enjoyed Gary & Verne so I with you. Bama’s radio broadcast isn’t the same without Eli & I sure miss Kenny. They were the perfect combo.

Back in the late eighties, I was working pipeline construction up on Signal mountain. I was young & homesick when one beautiful fall Saturday afternoon at quitting time I was able to tune in to the Bama game on the radio. I pulled my work truck onto a big rock outcropping looking out over Whitwell TN, enjoyed a few cold ones & we listened to Eli call that game. I’ve thought about that day every fall when I hear Eli calling a game. To me he is the voice of the Crimson Tide.

The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...
