Ford 3000 Diesel 2wd tractor with two 5 foot cutters $3900
Tractor runs great, just serviced everything myself in the last year. Can be a little cold natured in winter time, but a small shot of starting fluid cranks her every time. It’s an old tractor and doesn’t look great but it can work hard. I used it at the hunting club for light mowing, seed and fertilizer spreading and some blade work on the roads. I had intentions of restoring it, but have mainly just worked on getting it in good working order. The good:New front tires, rear tires are good, new alternator, good battery, 3pt. lift works well, good brakes, good seat, you are the power steering. The bad: instrument cluster doesn’t work, never got a round to fully troubleshooting or trying to replace, small leak on pto engaging lever- really a non issue and seal replacement isn’t very hard, parts are readily available and you tube has tons of do it yourself help for these things. Tractor comes with the full maintenance manuals. Great hunting club tractor or restoration project.
Comes with a 2008 5 foot med duty flex hitch king kutter mower in very good shape and a 5 foot med light duty bush hog cutter that has a small gear box leak and needs a metal strip welded across the top front. Both have stump jumpers, shear pin and cut well. Need to move for room in my barn. Located near west shore of Lake Jordan. Will deliver for additional fee within reasonable distance.

Somebody needs a good working tractor. May entertain trades or partial trades.

QDMAV8R takes really good care of his stuff. He’s been a good friend of mine for a long time and your coin will be well spent on a Ford 3000. One of my all time favorites. I was once a member of a club with QDMAV8R and put an extensive amount of hours on this tractor. Ran like a top. One time while bush hogging around the entrance gate of the club, a 1971 model bus came bouncing down the road at an unusually high rate of speed. I knew there was a turn ahead that could flip a Mazaratti on its best day so I stopped to watch the carnage. Sure as a goat’s ugly, she flipped. Rolled about four times and ended up resting on its roof. I chuckled and went back to mowing until a nun that was on the bus walked up there and flagged me down. She politely asked if I thought the tractor could turn the bus back over on its wheels. I said, does a cat have climbing gear?! Heifer, this is a Ford 3000. So I grabbed an old logging chain, threw it over the bus, passed it threw a window, and that’s where it got weird. A midget was at the window and asked if I needed a hand. I said, hell little fella. That ain’t much of a hand. He looked insulted and turned away from the window. Hey, you might wanna get out…. NO! We’re fine… We, I asked. Turns out this dang bus was packed full of nuns and midgets. I mean FULL. So at this point I’m thoroughly freaked out so onto the tractor I climb ready to get this over with. I push her up a couple extra RPMs now not so sure if it could happen. I mean, just about any Ford will turn that bus over but this thing had a few extra thousand pounds to say the least. Man, that tractor didn’t so much as fart. Eased out on the clutch and over she came. So I climb back down wanting my chain back and I ask the nun as respectfully as I could; Sister…. What in the hell is going on with y’all. This catholic hag flips me the bird (with both hands) jumps onto the bus, pumps the gas three or four times and fires it up. And down the road they go. Well that road dead ends into a bunch of freakin chicken houses so I knew they’d be coming back by. So I sat by the road knowing they wouldn’t want to show their faces after the shame of the previous incidents. This old bag of possum excrement comes blasting back by and I think she’s gonna plow right into me. I go to backing up as fast as I could and she got just close enough to damage both front tires. Not to worry about that though. As you know from previous posts, they’ve been changed. I look back to the bus and it looks like sixty tiny hands all giving me the bird. I guess it’s a good thing I wasn’t on a John Deere…. Buy with confidence.

I'd imagine even an 8N could've flipped it back up. Nuns and midgets don't usually weight that much, especially midget nuns. Unless of course, it was a Weight Watchers bus.

Dang...someone named ADWalters done hijacked my tractor sale thread. Any of you goobers know who this is??? And the sacrilege of defaming those good nuns and little folk with such language!!! Now if I recall correctly there used to be this young nerd whipper snapper in a club I was in that I let borrow my tractor one September work weekend. A strange young man indeed, but the club president vouched he could safely drive a tractor and get some mowing done that had been missed by the other club members. Never thought much about it until now. Rumor has it that something happened that day and I never thought it had any implications with my tractor.
I was told that that young guy ...was ...well ...playing for the other team, if you know what I mean. After all, the signs were there. He shot a Hoyt bow for gosh sakes. Anyway, the way I heard the events of the day transpiring was that late in the evening ol boy and tractor could not be found when everyone was ready to call it a day at the club. A search was made and down a dead end road called chicken house lane some of the fellers spotted an old bus. As they approached the bus to investigate why it was on the property they could read a sign with a rainbow on it that said Key West or Bust, or something like that. It had California plates and blow up dolls haging out the windows. As the search party got closer they heard a commotion and the passenger door swung open and the young guy came bounding out the steps half dressed with 4 or 5 little dudes with nothing but gold chains on running after him. Surely this couldn't be the same account of events mentioned in my ad above???
