What’s the difference between the ones driving the green trucks with the DCNR logo and the ones driving the dark blue/ black colored trucks?

State vs Federal?

Pretty sure the dark colored trucks are their new trucks. Green ones are older.

Federales have USFWS logos on them.

Got stopped by a black truck at beeswax once. He said his questioning was completely optional, more survey style. Green truck you dont get options. My only knowledge of it.

Black trucks are Law Enforcement division.
Green are Wildlife Division.
Blue are State Lands Division.

Do the blue ones only go on lands the state holds the deed to or any land in the state?

Nothin. I just saw one of the dark trucks that said game and fish law enforcement and wondered if ALEA got into the fish and game business.

The favored GWs get the new trucks like everywhere else. I work with the Perry Co. GW a lot of weekends and I'll ask her about it the next time I see her. I'm off this weekend so it won't be then. I know she is working in my place so I can be off. FYI, she is not a young lady to mess with if you hunt in that area.

Blue trucks are state lands

I think it could have changed. Both Marshall County game wardens just got new trucks. They are black
Ram 1500s. They were both switched out of the green trucks.

That just confirmed what I said. Black trucks are LE division. As they transition into newer vehicles they are leaving green and going to black. By LE division I mean the Game Wardens in DCNR. Wildlife biologists are keeping green. State lands are blue.
