Couple questions. How much 24d do you add to 16 gallons of water to kill gly resistant broadleaf? I'll already have 2 quarts gly in the tank. Also, how long after spraying 24d can I plant brassica and clover?

4 oz/gal is HOT, I use 2oz/gal and it kills about everything within 10-14 days but blackberry and bermudagrass. What broadleaf you have a problem with?

Not the right time of year to spray 24d you won't get good results on broadleaf if it's hot and dry IMO. Plant needs to be growing and we are almost at the end of the season here. Been wet so might still be ok for a few weeks or possibly up the rate. Label will tell you how much but takes a lot of 24,d. It works mixing will nuke about anything it gets on.

Well actually, it's not thistle. Thought it was. Its triangular leaves with thorns I'm not sure of the name.

One ounce of 2,4D and three ounces of gly per gallon will kill everything and anything that it is sprayed on. It isn't to late to spray, I just sprayed 21 acres of food plots this past Saturday. Don't forget the surfactant it is imperative.

If it has a white flower then its likely spurge nettle.....Grab some with your hand and you'll know for sure.

Is that the same thing as Jimson weed? That is what I have been trying to kill, and having a rough go of it. I have managed to knock all the grass back.

1oz per gal is all you need. Any more then that your wasting product

I agree 2ozs/gal does the job, but the recommended rate is 2 quarts/ acre to keep weeds from becoming gly resistant. So y'all saying 2oz/gal gly, and 1 oz/gal 24d? How long after spraying with the 24d added before I can plant broad leaves. I've read up to 45 days, but that seems excessive.

I always spray at least a month out before planting and have had no issues over the years. I'm sure there is scientific data out there on it but that is what has worked for me.

Not being an ass but y'all don't know the rate because you don't know the concentration..... Read the label on the jug and it will tell you.

When I mix the two, I mix 41% Gly @ 2% with 1% 2-4d and get good results . There's good info in the instructions that come with herbicides .

I have been using Tractor Supply's Farm Works - 2.5 gal container. It is 41 % gly and will kill most everything in a field. It takes about two weeks to fully kill everything and you can plant in three weeks. It kills the grass and weeds, not the ground. I spray 24 green fields from an ATV and it has done great for over six years now.

You can plant the next day using straight gly. Supposedly you have to wait awhile before planting broadleaf after using 24D
