Parents suing the school system over a bathroom. Does anyone on this forum think that an 8 year old kid would even know what being transgender means if the parents hadn't pushed it on them? If so, I'd love to hear your reasoning. If you don't want to reply in public, message me.

Parents should keep that in mind next time his buddies want to have a sleepover..."sorry girls cant go to the sleepover party with boys....". Then see how long that holds up.

(Didn't see a link, but assuming 1) this is a boy who wants to be a girl, and 2) this boy who wants to be a girl would be invited to said parties)

There is no way an 8-yo child could make that life decision by himself or herself.

We have laws about the age of consent for sex, and marriage, because those children (teens) are deemed unable to make decisions for themselves about sex or marriage.

Old enough to decide to get married? Or sleep with a 23-year old, or 17-yo? No, our laws based on ... wait -- science! -- say the child's (teen's) brain and decision-making ability isn't fully formed enough yet for those two things.

Ditto for military service, too. Right? We say 18 is old enough, but a diehard gung-ho strapping lad of 14 or 15 cannot join. I'm sure some 14- or 15-yos would want to, and maybe could physically, and some even mentally. But not all. So we put limits on the ages for that.

No. That's idiotic, and against any scientific-biological-medical basis of making rational, informed decisions.

Well, it should be pretty easy to figure out if it happened "naturally", or if the parents groomed the child. We know the answer but it could be easily proven. Gay right people all over the place will deny this ever happens. Gays just dont push their ideas on others. I wonder if theres not some kind of evil spirit really working on people these days. The bible talks about people believing right is wrong and wrong is right, and God letting people believe a lie. Theres something truly evil going on with these people because its clearly wrong, yet they think they are right, and yes, i believe they really think theyre right. It is sick and evil. Gona be hard to beat it.

I've never met the kid or family as far as I know but there's supposed to be a boy-girl about that same age at either Whitesboro or Carlisle elementary here in northern Etowah co. I believe I heard that the kid is being raised by a single mother that wanted a girl child so she's trying to turn her boy into one. One of the guys from work said he has had a few words with Momma at a t-ball game at Sardis. So my info is second hand, but from what I do consider to be a reliable source. My opinion? Kids are usually better off being raised by their own parents but not this time. This kid is going to be pretty screwed up and probably unrepairable because of her if not already.
