Took a cheap 1970s Hungarian High Power Clone, a 1980 Browning High Power (not cheap), and a Heckler and Koch P30 (not cheap either) out for a while this afternoon.
30', my reloads, fmj, 115g
upload imgFifteen rounds per target. BHP first, has target sights and is a very smooth shooter
Next the HK. Probably the best sights I've ever had on a handgun. Pretty much what you would expect.
Now the cheap import copy. It has the pedigree of a yard dog. Cheap eastern European manufacture and labor. The sights are not anything to speak about and the finish pretty rough.
And as always I shoot at least 50 rounds through my carry gun. Ruger LCP II - challenging little thing.
Paying more doesn't mean it will shoot better. And the small carry guns need a lot of attention to shoot well.
