Does it sit for extended periods? Do you keep it on a trickle charger? Do you have any aftermarket electrical accessories on the cart? The cart has a generator in It to charge the battery when running. but if you discharge the battery and don’t put it on charge or have a dead cell on the battery it will die. It only takes a few months for a battery to discharge when sitting if not on a charger.

It only takes a few months for a battery to discharge when sitting if not on a charger. It doesn’t get driven much. No charger. No extra lights or anything. So……it just needs charged? With a trickle charger? Or did I ruin this battery? Guess I didn’t think or worry about it being a gas cart.

It’s a dead battery but stopping like that means a bad alternator too. I hope not. Maybe I just neglected the battery.

I had the same issue with my gas cart, when it sat for periods of time. gave the battery a deep charge on the charger. Then drove it around a bit, battery has held a charge. But now I keep it on a trickle charger and have not had any problems.

I have a 2018 EZ GO with the original battery and so far, no issues with it. Note: I also have a lightbar and a wench wired directly to the battery also.

a wench wired directly to the battery also. Sounds kinky.
