You buying any of it?

Winter rains set in gonna be some tough logging on that tract. I'd be losing sleep if I had a big gob of $ borrowed betting on average timber in this market to pay it off with winter coming on.

Several crews and shopping the timber on the same tract often doesn't work out to well. Ol' Joe will say Bill is in the best timber, I'm getting screwed and Fred says his is harder to get out than both Joe and Bill and he's gettin' screwed more.

I don't know much about the surrounding properties. My main concern was the MM hunting club property. Thanks again.

There were rumblings he was gonna tack on some , flip it and retain the timber rights . Be a good way to hit a lick in a hurry.

Did he already flip it, or planning to flip it? I know someone that is looking for some property. 1500 acres might be too pricey, but if he’s cutting all the timber off and selling reasonable it might be in the ballpark

Don't know , that's just a rumor . I doubt it would be reasonable either way.
