Well, I was given some bad info.
Brad did not pass earlier. I don't know where his aunt got that info.
Per his dad he was shot "through his brain" but still has some brain activty and his heart is still beating.
It don't look good, but there is still hope....Y'all do some serious praying

I too got the bad info. I wasn’t going to say anything because I didn’t know first hand. I’m glad I didn’t.

Johnston seemed to be a really nice guy from the times I spoke with him. I've known Chris Poole since he was maybe 10 years old. I grew up with his brother and his cousin is my best friend. My grandmother died around two today and not long after that Madison called and told me about Chris. I just loaded up and went fishing. It's been a shitty shitty day around here.

Just heard on the news that the officer is on life support and will be taken off this afternoon, per his father.....  they said shooter has had 60 + charges against him, How has this scum avoided prison is beyond me....Prayers for the LEO's and their families.... I read hes been in and out of prison. Pretty sure I read he got out 81 weeks early last time he was in prison

Every municipality along route to UAB cleared the way I had a buddy coming home from Bham and he called me at like 5:25. He mentioned all the police presence on 65 then realized from about exit 234 north the law had the north bound ramps blocked off not allowing people on the interstate. Somewhere along the way he saw an ambulance escorted by 6-8 law enforcement heading north on 65. I pray these LEO's that were injured and pray for the ones searching for him also. This guy seems to have quite the record and doesn't need to be on the streets.
