Here's some more hi-tech farming equipment.

That all fine and dandy till the satellite looses signal and the machine is just sitting there useless.

I didn't catch it, are these super machines electric or diesel ?

I think they said they could be converted from diesel to another power source.

I was on YouTube looking for jd6700 operation and this thing showed up. Really interesting and weird at the some time. From tillage to harvest and all points in between they claim.

Or a zealous competitor gets his jammer or spoofer set up to disrupt your efforts. There’s a whole segment of the positioning systems market dedicated to anti-jamming/anti-spoofing technology. Yes, it is more a military issue right now, but as all technology, it trickles down to the civilian shipping and logistics world.

They were working on a rudimentary version of this at the Tallasee experiment station when I was at Auburn in the late 80’s. Their big thing then was that it helped with soil compaction because it ran on permanent tracks through the field.
