Failure to launch is hilarious. His latest movie The Gentleman is excellent as well!

Mud was a really underrated movie

There are 3 certainties in an uncertain world:

1. All Politicians Are Liars
2. All Gun Laws Are an Infringement
3. Taxation Is Theft

McConaughey is a good actor. That's about it for me.

That should be your position too. I think him taking the White House's podium was completely inappropriate grandstanding. I am not mad at him because of that he took the opportunity. McConaughey thinks he is really smart and has a bunch of profound commentary about life and how to be awesome. He's nowhere near as good at motivational speaking as Kenny Powers... but to each their own.

What he thinks about the color purple is as meaningless to me as what he thinks about Gun Control. He's a dumbass who thinks he's smart. Those are a dime a dozen. This one just happens to be really good at acting.

But I'm not mad at him just because he has a different opinion. To test his alleged reasonableness someone should just ask him how each of his fixes would have actually stopped the crime in question. Then we'd know if he was going to actually flame out like a true Democrat or if he is really open to someone having more common sense share that with him..

No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

He kills a bunch of guys in Sahara. Biden would really be upset because he takes care of the warlord with a civil war cannon. But, he certainly isnt known for violent movies.

Most of his movies I can think of are either romcoms or dramas. He plays the aw-shucks surfer boy roles well. Seems like a pretty good guy overall.

But, his views on firearms isnt something I care about.

This is how i feel also. I just thought it was strange that people were calling him a hypocrite because it didn't seem to me like he got famous off of action movies with a lot of ar shooting.

I don't give a rip about what he's done in movies, I still think his views on the gun laws sucks. When do I get to go to the White House podium and talk about what "shall not be infringed" means? Do we all get that opportunity or just douche bag movie stars?

I don't really care about him at all, I was just wondering because people were saying he's made all his money in movies shooting guns and I couldn't really remember any. Even in true detectives I don't remember there being a bunch of shooting with ars.
Sorry I asked, didn't mean to trigger anybody.

LOL..really? They have Memes of him now on twitter with ARs, AKs and even the evil 100 round drum magazines from his MANY productions after his "Gubernatorial Campaign speech" for the dems in TX yesterday. ( which is what that was, after meeting with Joe Biden before making it!) loco slap rofl

You must not be too darn good on the internet.

You do realize he wants to run for Gov of Texas?

And of his 49 movies and 7 tv shows you pick one? Jeez...OK troll... slap rofl

I think youre the one triggered fan boy that we all think hes a major butthole... laugh

So you can't think of any either?

No..unlike you, whenever I saw that azzhat on TV I changed the channel. Not stare lovingly at the TV.

I dont understand why you did not look. It was easy. I pulled it up easily as well. They literally have lists of his movies and several MEMES generated showing him with the various weapons when I looked around. Took 3 minutes.

He is a liberal dem, setting himself up to run against Abbott for Governor of Texas. That was a Campaign speech backed by Biden who he met with minutes before making it.

Do you not know how to use the internet? If you spent half the time actually looking you wouldnt have spent so much time asking and posting here. slap

So he played a guy buying and converting weapons he bought at gun shows to fully automatic and silencing them..then selling them illegally. But in real life he wants to take away our right to own certain weapons and magazines. How freaking rich.

The epitomy of a hypocrite

So, you still can't tell me a movie other than the one someone else already mentioned?
Seems like your interneting ability isn't all that good...or he didn't get famous off movies that involved a lot of gun play.

If he wants to be the alleged voice of reason at the White House podium then I think he should take questions from more knowledgeable Pro 2A groups of individuals.

I don't mind that he has a different opinion but let's see what happens when it is challenged with facts and common sense. Does he flame out? Or does he admit he's really just another stupid Democrat that doesn't know what he's talking about and go away?

That's the real question in my mind. He says we need to be reasonable.... Ok then, let's see if that's true. It's one thing to say you want to have the conversation. It's a completely different thing to realize you are wrong.

i think he let a AK rip in True det. But he was only shooting at the bushes, to stage a crime scene.

Ironically he rolled in on a tank in that dragon movie, Ring of Fire. But decided to take on the dragon with a battle ax. That scene would be great for a meme.

Abbhudson. You Sir are indeed a troll.

Type "In what Movies does Matthew Mconaughey use a weapon". Go ahead..try it . Takes 15 seconds to type. This comes up. Total time taken? 15 freaking seconds!

A freaking list . You cant do a dam internet search?

Single Action Army Revolver (Lone Star, The Newton Boys, Free State of Jones)
Browning Auto-5 semiautomatic shotgun (The Newton Boys)
M1911A1 semiautomatic pistol (U-571)
Thompson M1928A1 submachine gun (U-571)
Mossberg 500 shotgun (Reign of Fire)
Ultimax 100 light machine gun (Reign of Fire)
Browning Hi-Power semiautomatic pistol (Sahara)
AKM assault rifle (Sahara)
AK-47 assault rifle (Sahara)
Smith & Wesson 659 semiautomatic pistol (The Lincoln Lawyer)
Glock 17 semiautomatic pistol (Killer Joe)
Colt MK IV Series 70 semiautomatic pistol (Mud)
Remington Model 1100 semiautomatic shotgun (Mud)
Beretta 92FS semiautomatic pistol (The Dallas Buyers Club)
Winchester Model 1912 pump-action shotgun (The Dallas Buyers Club)
Colt 1860 Army revolver (Free State of Jones)
12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun (Free State of Jones)
Heckler & Koch USP Compact semiautomatic pistol (The Gentlemen)

and OH wait..there is More!:
He has also used several weapons — the Glock 17 semiautomatic pistol, the AKM assault rifle, and the SIG-Sauer P226 semiautomatic pistol — on television’s True Detective, a series in which he is also credited as an executive producer.

So, again, you cant do a dam internet search yourself but can respond in this thread 10 times. slap

Seems to me that is a career based on using firearms, both semi automatic to even fully automatic guns. Heck he used a LIGHT MACHINE GUN in one. Jeez. Your internet abilities or lack of is astonishing.

Sorry your big hero is indeed a hypocritical POS who is considering running for a political office using a tragic event for his own gain IMO. A Typical democrat I might add. Never let a crisis go to waste!

I dont hang with trolls and I dig chicks...but youre free to hang with the guy. He cant even do an internet search so he might not be able to find the hotel with goggle maps..but you can go pick him up.

Watch some Matthew McConaughey and get all worked up. You may have to watch him though. Sounds like he is a major fan boy . He may end up getting so worked up he hurts ya.
Good times... rofl

Note to you..to get thing going quickly..wear those same Rose colored glasses McConaughey did during his speech. I think he got them from Johnny Depp. I saw him wearing them during his trial. These Hollywierd types are literally "looking at life through rose colored glasses!" How rich.

I bet you show up in them and youll score for sure with abbhudson! Good luck. But please..DO NOT post pics. Thanks! laugh

If only you had made that list when I first asked it would have saved us both 24 hours. I have enjoyed living in your head though.
I didn't watch his speech but from the comments here it sounded like he was talking about regulations on ARs.and similar weapons. So that would be 3 of his movies and I don't think they're the ones that made him famous. All I was saying was that calling him a hypocrite didn't really make sense.
