I haven't used any, but I have used a small 4ft john deer disc pulled behind a 40 horse compact and it is just OK. We have a chain harrow and a fixed tooth spike harrow that I prefer to use with an ATV/UTV over the little disc. I use a cut log or railroad tie and put it on top and then make a few passes. Seed and drive over it again. I don't think I'd get any better coverage with a pull behind disc and it also would put more strain on the machine.

I had to use mine this year after army works eat 3 of my 4 food plots. It was just easier to load it on trailer with ranger and seed as opposed to moving tractor and equipment up the mountain. It worked out just fine, it’s not a replacement for 1300# 8ft disc but it can get the job done. I used to put cement blocks on it for weight but too much trouble keeping them on so this time had a red oak that blew over last spring I cut about 4 foot section at about 14” and ratchet strapped it down. Worked perfect.
Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.

ATV disks look like a good way to tear up a perfectly good 4-wheeler

Use a truck. (note ramps) Two layer sheet metal hitches on UTV's will get tore up. If you back up ( which seems to help the process) stop and look if you feel resistance. Let some air out of the tires to get it bouncing a little. It will work. I used it enough on hard soil where I had to replace 2 disc bearings. Just mow first.
