You might try Blue Ox in Selma. They are a bush hog dealer and are about a mile from the plant. They have called the plant to get stuff for me before. Bush hog won't sell to the public, but they will sell it to Blue Ox and you can buy it through them. Good luck finding what you need.

You used to be able to get it from the plant and the distributors got them to stop that.

I had a shaft and gear which exploded in our 3008. It was cheaper to buy the whole gearbox already built fully, than the shaft and gear. Make sure to investigate the cost. I used Messicks, and had great service.

I worked at the Hog one summer with about 60 other college students on break. I had to fill in testing gearboxes for a couple of weeks one time. We first dunked them in water to check for bubbles. If no bubbles they were good to go on to high speed spinning to check for burrs. I was told that if they had a burr you could hear it. In two weeks all of them I tested passed, by my standards anyways. This was a treat to me because the other times I was given a bin of 10,000 pins and had to drill a hole in one end of them. After about a hundred or so, that got old. They seriously are well designed and built machines.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
