I was hoping to see a hand churn. Thanks for reminding me to pick up rock salt. The kids in the neighborhood and I have a deal, y’all can swim in the pool if you take turns cranking the handle then take a batch home. Homemade buttermilk ice cream is my favorite. I know the buttermilk ice cream bar at Steel City Pops is just about the best thing ever. I need to make some ice cream from our homemade Kefir. I make frozen banana, frozen strawberry, vanilla protein powder, cacao powder and Kefir shakes after I work out and they are amazingly good.

I love ice cream, but we can’t keep it with kids. You better get what you want quick or it’ll be gone. I bought some bluebell “peachy peach” it was some count!
Best ice cream I’ve had in a while though was bluebells “coconut cream pie”.
