It would be awful to actually be in some danger and have to depend on the cops to help you, wouldnt it? Might as well stick your head between your legs and kiss your butt goodbye. This is like saying that every tree arborist is bad at there job. Not every LEO is what you described

They could at least run his info through a national database, that police use. Maybe try the Federal route, could be they might help. feds wont touch a general "missing" person.. also the last area he was in would have to do the report example : he was in a grocery store in the city of birmingham but lived in huntsville. birmingham would be the ones to do the report since he was last seen or heard from in their city generally speaking adults with no known life threating issues such as medical conditions will be BOLO"ed for through NCIC to surrounding agencies and possibly surrounding counties..
Turkey’s tell you when they want to die not lawmakers.

Somebody missing that long would have a report filed and entered into NCIC. What do you mean they wouldn’t do anything? I guess some folks just thinks it’s suppose to be the movies where there’s some giant search for the individual. Like I said, the police said he was grown and could disappear if wanted! They wouldn't file a report. At least that what I'm told. My mother in law went to police department where he lived when he lived with her and they wouldn't do anything either. And I don't think its a damn movie smartass I happen to know how all of this works and I wasn’t trying to be anything. Calm down. Does he have any mental illnesses or or medical issues?

I'm calm, not mad, I just say what I think. For as I know he doesn't.

This is like saying that every tree arborist is bad at there job. Not every LEO is what you described The biggest part of the tree arborists i know are lying drug addicts. Theyll tell you a luscious tree with green leaves is dead just so theyll get to overcharge you to cut your tree you love and take care of to provide much needed shade. Tree men might be some of the only folks i regard lower than the police. Ive needed the cops help several times. They never helped me, not one time. I do understand there are some good cops, i just haven't experienced one yet. I hope if you ever need a tree cut, you find a good guy to do it, most of them will rip you off in a minute.

And I hope the next time you need the police that you get one that does the job that he is paid to do and that he is professional while doing it. Come to think of it there seems to be bad apples in every profession……
