Never heard of that before. So it’s ok if they go missing if they’re an adult? I reckon so. Me and the wife strongly suspect drugs, a bad deal, etc. but regardless his momma needs closure.

Could you do a welfare check and back into a missing person report that way? We'll he lived with his momma. He left one day and never came back. Police told his mom that he was a grown man and had the to disappear if he chose to! Sounds like a sorry azz department that don't want to put forth effort in my opinion.

Did she try to report him last November or just recently after he’s been missing since last November? I’m a little confused by your post. If you suspect drugs, the police probably do too and aren’t too interested due to that. Sad because he’s still a person but it happens.

After a couple days of not hearing from him is when she went to the police, so yes in November. I just can't understand the police not trying. Don't get me wrong, I ain't lost no sleep over this as bad as that sounds, just confused.

What evidence is it that he just wanted to go away somewhere else? Adults have this freedom and without an indication of something afoul there isn't much PDs can do. They run a fine line between investigating when someone leaves voluntarily and trampling on his Right to go where he wants to go. About all they can do, and very well may have is put out a BOLO that if you come across this guy, let us know if he is OK. Then you can't tell the family where he is unless he OKs it. So often we told families, usually of young adults, that they are OK but don't want anyone to know where they are.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Maybe if they’d spend a little time into it they may find a little evidence if he disappeared on his own or not. Maybe call a few towing businesses and see if his car was abandoned and towed in. Do something besides shrugging it off. The family could do that too I guess but just saying we’re not even going to look into it is a slap in the face of the family really.

Tell the police he's mentally disabled. They should do something then for sure. Local news and social media describing the way the department handled it is a good idea too.
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

He told his momma he'd be back in little bit and that was it. All his clothes and all still there. She tried calling his phone for a couple days leaving voice mail then I guess it went dead cause it would ring. Nobody in the family, no one has heard from him.

Did he take his own vehicle when he left or did he get in a vehicle with someone else? If he lived with her, she may have seen or heard something that she doesn't even realize could be relevant to the situation that would help determine if he ended up in a bad situation that was not voluntary.

Somebody missing that long would have a report filed and entered into NCIC. What do you mean they wouldn’t do anything? I guess some folks just thinks it’s suppose to be the movies where there’s some giant search for the individual. Like I said, the police said he was grown and could disappear if wanted! They wouldn't file a report. At least that what I'm told. My mother in law went to police department where he lived when he lived with her and they wouldn't do anything either. And I don't think its a damn movie smartass
