It’s been a while since I’ve posted, so I apologize that this post is where I am picking up. A few months ago, a member of this forum “cdcrosshunt” started getting sick. It began with cold like symptoms, but progressively got worse. He spent almost a month on home oxygen before his body couldn’t take it anymore. Since March 17, he has been in ICU at St Vincent’s East. He has been on and off a vent a few times, blood infections, kidneys shut down, zero white blood cell count, etc….he has been fighting for every second of his life the last month or so. He is well respected member of his community, as he has served as an officer of the Alabama Department of Game and Fish, St Clair County Sheriffs Deputy, and an Ashville Police Officer. He’s married with 2 sons ages 18 and 16. This family means the world to so many people. I actually met Chris through Aldeer almost 15 years ago, and it’s been a brotherhood ever since. I have spent countless hours with him and to say he is an honorable man, worthy of all the help his family, friends, and community can provide is an understatement. He was never diagnosed with Covid and does not have Covid antibodies.

Man I hate to hear that. I spent a lot of time with Chris going to Snead State , when we were down at Auburn. We had some good times hanging out, hunting, just riding around. RIP Bud!!!
