Going to be hunting some public land that doesn’t allow atv use. Terrain is hilly. Anyone recommend any particular brand deer hauling cart?

If it’s like Bankhead you’ll want a sled. Trust me

Any of you guys have pictures of the sleds you use, I will be hunting some hilly areas this season and need some ideas on what sled to look at buying. I have a cart, that has the thin hard tires and it sinks in the ground more than it roles when it's loaded with a deer.

I use a Skedco Sked that one of our rescue teams decommissioned that works like a charm. Haven't ever used a cart but some look pretty nice.

Quarter it up and put it in a backpack. Way quicker and easier than anything else.

I've never needed one but I've got a good friend that uses one and from what I've gathered listening to him the bigger the tires and wheels on it the better it is to maneuver and pull over stuff. I think he's planning to make one for next season with with some big bicycle tires and wheels.

I got one of those 4 wheeed “crawler” carts. It’s a bit better than dragging, but it sucks going up hill. You can’t set it down or else it just rolls back downhill. Like carrying a giant wagon up hill.

Atleast when you drag the deer over the ground, the deer has usually enough friction it doesn’t go back down.
