I have one that is 6 years old. Great dog! Loves my kids and fiercely protects us from lizards, snakes, frogs, birds, etc..

Dang near the cutest pups ever. I saw a puppy at a pheasant shoot a few weeks ago and they look just adorable!

Agreed… I had a lab that was the best dog on the planet for 12 years, can never replace her but my GSP is a close 2nd.

I’m on my 3rd one. I’ve had labs, a golden, 2 Chesapeake’s and 3 German short hairs. Gsp hands down the best of the bunch. My gsp is 7 years old and a fine dog. New owners do need to know what they’re getting into on this breed. Oh and mines already had his stomach cut open to retrieve a sock. We have to to be extremely careful not to leave them any where he can get to them. It’s common with these dogs.

They are wide open, definitely need room to roam and are professional escape artist.

Mine yacked a sock up this morning. No clue how many of the kid’s socks she has ate.

Mine climbed a 4 foot wire fence the 2nd day I got him and would run through the underground electric fence, finally just gave up and he hasn’t left! Great dog and a running fool
