In my head it makes sense that the best time to trap egg raiders is during the nesting season so a couple weeks ago I started and so far have caught 4 raccoons and 2 possums. Now that turkey season has started my numbers should go up pretty fast. I'll set them every afternoon I hunt and check them the following day after my morning hunt. I'm using dog proof traps due to being easy to carry around and just a few seconds to set. Has anyone else started doing this? Having any luck. I will set a few dirt hole traps also for Bobcat and coyote eventually.
