I am hunting public land in Florida my kids are on Spring break so we are at my Moms in Jacksonville. I have a few turkeys at home gobbling but have only hunted three times once on youth weekend. I missed a gobbler that looked to be titty high on opening morning searched for a couple hours found two spots of blood. The hunting in FL is twice as thick and as much water as I imagined. It took forever but have found about the only dry spot that looks like a turkey would hang out looks promising.

Well we made it to Texas! Can start hunting today at 12. My first out of state hunt it’s definitely different down here

Come on Rolloverdave put some hammers on the board. They sho nuff got some Spurs and beards out there. Hoping for a good one this weekend. I’m hunting here in Louisiana. These birds over here are big, seen some 22-23 birds yet I’ve alway killed the 19-20 pound ones. Good luck this weekend team. Headed back to Bama Thursday.

Im traveling for work this week and thinking about detouring by my property in Bama Friday morning. I will be back in Louisiana this weekend. I only have 1 tag left here and would like to fill it before Easter. I’m heading to Bama Easter Sunday for 10 days.

All the reports I’m getting at home is they been on fire past few days

Went today around 3 had one gobbling on his own but had somewhere he wanted to be tried looping on him never got in the game with him. The other one gobbled few times but was a no show and went silent so I left. Leave them for a morning that they are wanting to die

The struggle has been real since I’ve got back Tuesday from Texas! Tuesday afternoon went to my lease struck 2 one was gobbling every breath but wouldn’t come my way the other gobbled a few times. Yesterday went to another lease and had 2 off the property never could get them to come on me and the 3rd was on me but didn’t wanna die. Today was a dead day been all afternoon hunts since I’m back at work

It’s not looking good for #3 team. My place that’s normally loaded is empty this year. Been 2 straight days with no gobbles of long beard sightings.

Doesn’t help us out but it was an awesome morning here in Louisiana. This one read the script and my 10 yr old smoked him at 30 yrds

Guess I lied. And I’m more than likely done for the season. I didn’t kill nothing but 2 year olds this year, but glad I killed enough to help the team. I was hesitant to join the competition this year cause I didn’t think I’d hunt enough to get my 3 but I did it!
