I will agree with Jake, nukes going off over DC, New York, LA and San Fran would be the best thing that could happen to this country. We greatly need a fool reduction event. This is one of the most pathetic comments I've ever read. While I agree we need a fool reduction, that's a pretty phucking stupid thing to say about your homeland.

Wrong it wasn't stupidity, it was people tired of all of the BS in DC. We also don't have the man in office that made those mean and disrespectful tweets that hurt you so much lol I am a conservative card carrying member of the Republican Party. And a major Trump supporter. Trump’s tweets are irrelevant. And while the foolish people who trespassed in the capital building were obviously tired of D.C. corruption and a stolen election what they did was still stupid and immature — just like your childish inane posts.

When Iraq invaded Kuwait, then President Bush said “this will not stand!”. Over the course of a few months, a coalition force led by America removed Iraqi forces from Kuwait and eventually the Iraqi government fell.
Why is this different? Why don’t we form a coalition and give Putin an ultimatum or else? The liberals back then said it was not about invading a sovereign nation but was all about oil. Were they right? Is the world willing to allow Ukraine to be sacrificed because Russia is a more capable adversary then Iraq was? Iraq did not have a massive arsenal of tactical nukes that can hit us on our own soil.

One thing I'll bet on is that Russia may take Ukraine but eventually it will not end well for Putin. How many of those despots get to die a natural death?
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

WmHunter, while I see your logic and obviously you are knowledgeable and concerned for the people of Ukraine affected by Putin's actions. I think you lose some credibility when you resort to name calling and shaming folks on this site. Better to take the high ground. Just my 2 cents worth.

I'm not nearly as worried about what Putin is doing as I am about what the U S. government is trying to distract us from. In my opinion the biggest threat to our freedom is our own government.
I'd also bet that Putin's ideal end game wouldn't look a lot different than our governments ideal end game. American ideals and exceptionalism lie with the citizens themselves and our own government is a bigger threat to those ideals and our way of life than any other country or theocracy. The distraction is the Southern boarder. While our government isn’t doing a damn thing about it we are being invaded by unvetted illegals. We are being invaded by the Mexican drug cartels that are putting fentanyl, cocaine and heroin in our streets and killing our citizens. But nothing will be done about because the democrats believe that the illegals will vote democrat.

I love it when people tell me who I need to listen to. Thing is I don't recall anyone on this site saying the whole potential Russia invasion of Ukraine was made up by the Biden admin. Maybe I just missed it, but don't recall that being some major theme on this site that a bunch of people kept spewing on about....you know, kinda like they do covid conspiracies. Not made up just reporting that and only that to keep from talking about whats going on right here. I dont recall anyone saying its a hoax.

There are a lot of twitter feeds of live combat and destruction for those whom have twitter.
Ukraine has done a good job fighting back. They did not just lay down and surrender as many predicted. It is going to be bad when they run out of heavy weapons like the javelins and stingers.
I have received no less then three and a half dozen texts from people there asking “why doesn’t anyone help us.”
We should have at least given them airpower and denied Putin the use of the skies. That would make all the difference they need to successfully defend their country.
Problems like this should be nipped in the bud before they spin out of control.
