Move to Florida and get your own M card. Then you can buy legally for medicinal or recreational purposes. The quality nowadays is nothing like we had coming up in the seventies. The THC is regulated. I'm told that what's sold can't be above 30% THC. That's potent grass for sure.

i cant do ambien or melatonin at all. Im always more tired the next day and never saw any sleep benefits from them. I wake up at least 5-7 times a night and would love to have something to keep me knocked out for longer than 1-2 hour stints.

Doesn't sound like you got Delta 8, must have just been some kind of CBD.

The Delta 8 stuff isn’t going to make you hallucinate or start chewing on your arm, but folks without a lot of experience should really stick to instructions/recommendations. They are usually there for a reason

now i know a guy who makes some gummies and when he recommends half i take a quarter. And my knees and back wont hurt me for several hours.

One of my buddies bought a bottle of 25mg delta 8 gummies a few weeks ago and gave me one to try. Made me feel like I was back in high school and had just smoked a joint. I went through all three phases (hungry, happy, sleepy) over the course of an hour and a half or so. Even had a pretty good giggle fit over some stupid commercial that was on TV lol.

I didn't read of this thread but from what I understand there are different strains of the weed so they make you feel different ways but there is for sure one that make you hyper and another that puts you in the couch asleep. I don't know much about it because I'm not a user. I think all this depends on what you get and I am sure how well it's made just like anything else. Keep in mind you are buying this stuff at a gas station.

But for me the takeaway is this.... this crap is already legal in AL. And has been. Meanwhile we aren't having a bunch of society problems because it's available. I just went through Colorado and it's legal there but I didn't see everyone stoned like a bunch of junkies on the side of the road either. Doesn't appear to be an issue of any kind I am sure there is illegal activity because it's not legal nationwide. On a local level didn't see or hear any complaints or issues.

This is the modern day version of Alcohol Prohibition. Law Enforcement needs to spend their time fighting against things like Fentanyl and stuff that will actually kill or harm a person. Legalize it and lets move on.

My experience also. I would highly recommend starting with half a gummy and waiting at least a hr to see how it effects you.

I took one a friend gave me. I laid in bed and hallucinated but was aware enough to not get up and move around. I'll never take that again.

I bought some delta 8 at a local store near me. I can't tell much difference with it. My son took one and it knocked him down nearly 24 hours. Impacted us completely different.

I've got a bottle about half full that I've had a while. Just don't get enough out of it to make it worth taking. If I do take one, it's right before bed.

We've always had lazy people. Eliminate the weed and they are still a lazy POS. Just like a lazy drunk. Plenty of those just the same, however, we tend to blame it less on alcohol because of the decades of propaganda against Mrs. Mary Jane.

I've see people do stuff stoned, which I could never do drunk, I'll admit that. Alcohol is much much worse for you. Undeniable fact in my opinion.

The real threat is out there. It's called Fentanyl and China is flooding our country with it and it's killing a ton of people while we are supposedly worried about this Delta 8 crap at the Gas Station that's been legal for years.

I tried some gummies and some pre rolls last year. Smoking works quicker but ingesting lasts longer.

I made sure it was all legal because of course we fine folks would never do anything illegal.

Legal or illegal is really not important to me in this issue. Do what's best for your own health, don't let the govt deny beneficial medicine from you or your family. If you are experiencing sleeping issues, anxiety, depression, etc. Marijuana or Delta-8 would be a lot better option than going to your doctor and getting some pill. It's also extremely beneficial in the bedroom with the wife.
