If that's the best you got I'd stay home......I'll see you there Friday afternoon That's my best on a really good day but I'm still gonna go donate my money to somebody. I'm gonna try to shoot my optional round on Friday at 1pm if the weather isn't to bad. Are you and Karen going to shoot the team shoot?

Well guys, I wasn't able to repeat last years performance and bring home a win. I did have fun and learned a few things. I had bow issues on the first round and dug myself into a hole before having to call "breakdown" and go fix the problem. I was able to pick up a few points on the second half of the round but ended up 9 down for the day. There are some really good shooters in this class and I knew mathematically that I couldn't get back up into the money on day two so since we shoot the same range as the pros I decided to do something that I've been wanting to do for a while now and that is to shoot a judging round on the pro range. I did good on the first 13 target but I misjudged the chamois target by 5 yards to short and that got me to second guessing my yardage which just caused more bad shots. I've got to learn to shake off the bad shots and just shoot them for what I think it is and not second guess. At the end of round two I was 9 down again. Now I know there's a lot of room for improvement but for my first time judging on a pro range I don't think 9 down was to terribly bad. I'm gonna put some effort into improving my yardage judging and maybe next time I can shoot up on one of these ranges.
