Chelsea game preserve normally has a few memberships available. It's a little crowded but they kill some good bucks every year. Pm me and I'll give you the club president's # if you're interested. Not near as many club's around here as there used to be.

CGP is on the left side of 51. They used to have 3 gates, but 200 acres was sold to a DR just past the horse farm as you go ever yellowleaf creek. That is where the first gate used to be. If you go past the second gate, which is the main gate, go down to Jackson Farm Rd, and turn left. You will come up to a gate. The left side is CGP, and a small portion of right past the gate is, and then everything on the right is Bullseye past that.
Also there are 2 powerlines and a RR that go through both properties. It is very difficult to keep people from riding in on ATV's. The RR used to not be used much, but trains started coming thru pretty regular in the last year I was in CGP. There are some nice men in the club, don't get me wrong. But work days were the same bunch every year, which is to say about 15 guys. They had 50 or more members. I am not trying to tell you not to join it, I would just rather tell you my experiences so you have the full picture.

But I was also told some of the regulars would sit in your spot during the week, and then hunt their spots on the weekend. So you go to sit in your spot, and its had pressure all week.
So, they have assigned spots? Ain't no way I'd be a part of any club that operated that way. Lots of clubs in Florida began operating that way when baiting became legalized years ago. No thanks.

Have you tried Google?

Not quite. Usually when new folks join a club, they can't possibly scout all of it. They may look at a map, or ride around, and then they tend to focus on a certain area. They may hang a stand, put up a ladder or blind, right? Well especially if you are the person bringing them into the club, they confide in you. You act concerned and say, hey how's it going:? You seeing any deer? If they are, they will likely tell you. Then you hunt that spot while they are at work. Only way they would know is if they took the day off, and you come out and see them pinned out there.
I have been in clubs where certain members had their "spots" and expected you to ask permission to hunt there. Of course, that isn't disclosed in the whole process of you joining.
I am the pres of mine, and in that capacity, people tell me what they see. Likewise, I have to help those who aren't seeing anything. If I was a crappy pres, I could sit in those places when these guys aren't there, but if I did, and they figured that out, then they would probably stop telling me. It's better to have a 2 way flow of information that a one way.
