For those that shoot a hinge release, click or no click? I've been shooting no click but took my release apart this evening and changed to a click. I'm going to give it a try for a few rounds. Thanks, Robinhedd

When I used to shoot them, I preferred the click. I used it like a set trigger. I only shot tournaments with one though. The click wouldn’t be too good for hunting.

I've been shooting a hinge release the past two years to help with target panic. It has been a game changer for me and I'm more confident than ever. I did not like the "click". It seemed to defeat the purpose of the hinge for me.

My original plan was to practice with a hinge and shoot a thumb button while hunting but now that I've gotten used to the hinge I hunt with it too. Target panic used to make me punch the release and hit high a lot of times. I haven't had that problem since shooting the hinge.

My only complaint is that it is a little awkward wearing on your wrist while hunting but not terrible.

I'm shooting the Scott Longhorn

I flipped the sear over on my hinge, adding the click. It messes up my concentration and shot routine, I think I’ll go back to shooting it without the click for now. Thanks, Robinhedd

Using the click takes a little getting used to. I prefer it over no click. I get my hinge to the click then start my shot routine.

The click is giving me a fit, to say the least‼️
