I’ve had 3, and never could like them….looks, function, etc…..I’ve always loved 94s, Marlins, BLRs (if not completely traditional, they were the sturdiest, smoothest, and most accurate), and even Win 88s and drool over Finnwolfs. The Savage 99 just never did it for me….but lots of folks absolutely love them, and there’s a collector following, for sure. It’s like cigars and women: light up what YOU like, and don’t worry about what others think.
