Prime movement showed 10:40ish to 12:50 the best - wish I would hav gone out at 10 and stayed out

Prob just go back 2:30 ish - thing I don’t like about Clarke - that property does not set up well for NW wind - the one wind that iffy and we get that wind a lot - fields not set up for that wind

Prob do Camden - but they chased yesterday there - don’t hav near as many mature there though

Lot of good ones killed this past weekend at Skinners there in Tville. We never could find the big one I shot, but then had a big mature 6 come out pushing some does on our place in North Clarke co that earned him a ride in the back of the Tacoma. My brother has killed on 1/18 multiple years in a row so this week should be on in that part of the world. We had a lot of good bucks on camera though the week you were talking about two weeks ago when the cold snap came through.

Gobble4me - next time U there - look for buzzards flying - hate u didn’t find him

Lot of running tracks the last few weeks - big one could step out any time even if u not seeing any does - congrats on the 6 and I would think from here untill end season should be good n spurts

To me - when u see big deer out in daylight chasing a doe that u don’t see any other time other than maybe opening weekend it is on - all left to see is Dick n hole which u usually don’t see anyway

Had a doe and her yearlings slip in behind me this am. She ended up smelling me and blew at me, and we'll, I blew back!

In a blind watching a green patch. Multiple bucks including my only shooter on camera here pushing does out of the field via cam pics. Shooter is showing up here and another spot, other spot does not have a good wind so hopefully he shows up here.

About to head to my patch across the road from the house. Have a ton of does in this area so hopefully they will pull some bucks in with them this evening.

They were finally chasing in Camden again yesterday- May go back today and while experience has told me rut here usually best 17-20th on - I hav also seen it come in hard Early on diff years

Good luck guys

It was a weird season for me. Saw some scrapes before Christmas which is kind new to me. Did some spot and stalk today and we spooked one really good one about 100yds from where we had been hunting during the morning. I think it was the same deer that started coming off a ridge but then turned and ran back up without blowing. The wind just kept swirling all morning

Me and my boy have been seeing deer all day. We tried a clear cut mid morning and had two bucks chasing does. The bucks were either to far for him to shoot or wouldn’t stop. He still had fun that his first experience in seeing something like that
