🙏🙏🙏 Prayers for all who have lost family members or their homes. Hope and pray the storms lose some punch as they cross our state. Stay safe!

Several records were set off that tornado. Spanned 4 states, stayed on the ground for almost 250 miles, unconfirmed but that is what is being reported. Gate to gate wind measurements of 283 mph. Radar measured debris at nearly 40k feet in the air..
Really sad situation, prayers for all those affected by the storms

Terrible and so sad for those involved. May God's presence be felt.

Terrible and prayers for everyone affected.
So what do we have in store for Alabama today? Could the conditions worsen and we have a bumpy afternoon? From what I can tell the risk is moderate to low from north Alabama to south.

Mayfield KY is pretty much gone News is saying it may well be the longest and strongest tornado in history Saw this: 283mph gate to gate velocity at 5,000 feet above the ground in MO near Caruthersville, making this the strongest tornadic gate to gate couplet in Doppler radar history. Previous was a tie between Greensburg KS 2007 EF5 and Tuscaloosa AL 2011 EF4 at 280mph. So far hit 3 states.
