Is a mighty fine looking bow!! Buddy shot one the other day and ordered one. Said he shot 295 pushing a 468g arrow. I’m really intrigued about the bridge sight. Really tempted to go shoot one.

What’s your buddy’s draw length and the draw weight/let off?

It’s the same stuff as they’ve put out the last three or four years. The archery industry is at the point that all they can do is tweak with stuff until new materials come about.

Does look nice. I plan on taking a trip to a dealer and shooting some different bows. Can't wait to see what Elite comes out with. I shoot a Mathews now, but want to try other brands and get what feels best. Probably try Archery Unlimited

Elite is out! Go check out there website some pretty nice bows for this year! If you rig a new Mathews out the way they want you to you will have well over 2000$ in it so I’m going to stick with my elite!

I saw a teaser, so to speak, on lancaster about a release from elite on 11/23. I just assumed that they were releasing a bow, but I am not sure.

The V3 is an amazing feeling bow but I just couldn’t get over the hump in the draw cycle. Is the new V3x sight mount the same as what Hoyt stwrted putting out last year? Basically a picitinny mount in front of the riser?

No. The riser is machined to accept most dovetail type sights. Which means you don’t have to purchase proprietary sight made specifically for the bow like you would Hoyt. The Spot Hogg Hogg Father sight I use would fit it.

And you can still use any of the sights with hoyts but if you want to use the picatiny you have to buy certain sightsade for that but mathews has the better design in my opinion. Some guys on archery talk are saying that are having some trouble getting them to move far enough to the right to get sighted in though that could be a problem but I don't have one and probably won't have one so can't say from personal experience

That's a really cool new feature. Bow makers definitely seem to have hit the wall with technology. I watched a video on the new string that attaches to a hook on the cams and can act as a portable bow press for emergencies in the field. That is a really cool feature as well for a bow hunter.

Thanks for the pic Shaw, that does look like a slick design and if you don’t have to buy a specific sight for it a superior design.
