Looking for something inexpensive. She has her own at her other granddaddys house but since her great granddaddy passed he won't let her have it. Looking for just a ok rifle, nothing fancy $3-400. Ammo would be a plus. Thanks ahead of time

Ive got a couple of savage axis youth guns i really like. You can buy them new with a scope on them for that. Not a great scope but maybe later you could run up on a good deal on a better scope. These guns are nothing special but they have a much smoother action than a similarity priced Remington and the two i have shoot really well. whats the weight on those with scope? I’m looking for a lighter weight 243

I’m looking for a lighter weight 243 Have a 7-08 and it is very light and very little recoil. It is very loud though 🤣

I saw a Black Friday add for BPS that had a Savage Axis with a scope for $249, IIRC. I personally don't think I'd fight the crowd for it, though.
